Since it was founded in 1957, IMV has been proud to be at the forefront of research and development in vibration testing systems, supplying technically-advanced vibration systems, with safety and reliability as first priorities. The range of IMV vibration test systems includes single-axis and simultaneous muti-axis systems for up to six degrees of freedom. IMV designs, manufactures, markets and maintains vibration-test systems which simulate actual vibration environments, and measuring systems which record and analyse vibration created or experienced by a product.

Hardness testers

Vickers & Knoop

Hardness testers and micro hardness testers to test metals according to Vickers ISO 6507 and Knoop ISO 4545. After an indenter (cone) is pressed into the sample, the dimensions of the imprint are measured using a lens and camera. The measured data are then used to calculate the corresponding hardness values. Individual measurements can be assessed automatically, semi-automatically or manually. These hardness testers can also be used for measurements conducted using the Brinell ISO 6506 method with low loads.

Fully-automatic hardness tester for large samples with the possibility of focusing the surface of the sample with a touch probe. Suitable for multi-point and single-point measurement.
