Microscopes

Optical microscopes can be used to inspect visual samples at smaller magnification (stereomicroscopes, digital microscopes, zooming microscopes) or for detailed analysis of material structures and composition at optical magnifications of up to 1500x (metallographic, polarization, semiconductor microscopes). High-quality transmission and image processing are provided by digital cameras and software for image analysis. The electron table microscope offers a maximum magnification of up to 100,000x.
