Plastometer calibration
Calibration is conducted directly at the customer’s site. The following device characteristics are inspected:
- heat furnace functioning, including inspection of temperature sensors
- pressure forces – weights
- measuring zone length
- capillary dimensions
- testing channel dimensions
- testing piston dimensions
- subsequent verification of the device results using appropriate reference materials

Compliance with applicable standards
Our service team is trained by GÖTTFERT Werkstoffprüfsysteme GmbH for conducting company plastometer calibrations. All maintenance and calibration are conducted according to GÖTTFERT’s internal procedures and complies with the requirements of standard ISO 17025.
The output is a maintenance and calibration protocol.

How do we do it?
We briefly explain how we guarantee your satisfaction with the calibration and maintenance of your plastometer:
- Contact us using the inquiry form on this page or by telephone (the number below).
- Our calibration laboratory responsible employee will inspect your request and personally contact you within 24 hours with questions and requirements in order to clarify your inquiry.
- After clarifying all the details related to your needs, we will prepare and send you a quote including information about the earliest available calibration date.
- Once you order our service, our calibration laboratory representative will confirm the calibration date in your company or in the calibraton laboratory with you.
- We will conduct the calibration and prepare a worksheet with you.
- We usually draw up and send a calibration protocol to you within 48 hours of calibration.
