Temperature at a single spatial point

This type of calibration is always conducted at a single spatial point, specifically at the centre of the space where the etalon is located.

We conduct calibrations:

  • in a temperature range of -70 to +400 °C
  • in all temperature-controlled spaces
  • in small volumes of around 20 litres to high-volume spaces with a volume of more than 20 m3
  • we can also adjust most calibrated devices (in case of the displayed temperature value does not comply with the real temperature value in the given space)

It is intended for testing chambers, furnaces, hot-air driers, freezer boxes etc.

Temperature homogeneity

Multiple sensors are used (time perspective) to measure temperature distribution in a temperature-controlled space.

  • 9 15 etalons are distributed in the given space (the number depends on the size of the testing chamber)
  • selection of calibration points in the temperature range of -70 to +180 °C
  • all temperature-controlled spaces
  • small space volumes of about 100 litres up to high-volume spaces with a volume of more than 20 m3
  • we can also adjust most calibrated devices (in case of the displayed temperature value does not comply with the real temperature value in the given space)

It is intended for large testing chambers (for whole automobile), spaces for storing medicines or sensitive products.

Calibrations can be conducted with a loaded testing space (simulations with inserted samples, i.e. while simulating real testing conditions) or without loading on the testing space—it always depends on the customer’s requirements.

Compliance with applicable standards

  • the calibration laboratory is accredited  in accordance with ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025
  • accredited methods are prepared in accordance with standards DKD-R 5-760068-3-X
  • etalon distribution and space homogeneity measurement procedures are implemented in accordance with standard ČSN EN 60068-3-5

Calibration protocol

The results of every device calibration are output as a corresponding calibration protocol that includes the following information:

  • description of the calibrated device (such as a type)
  • customer information
  • responsible calibration technician
  • selected calibration method
  • applied standards and regulations
  • conditions of the surrounding environment
  • used etalons information
  • measurement results, including measurement deviances and uncertainties

We can draw up the protocol for you in either Czech or English.

Why should you calibrate with us?

There are many reasons for calibrating with us, the most important being:

  • Expertise in the field
We are the first accredited laboratory to conduct temperature and humidity calibrations directly at the customer’s site and are proud of more than 20 years of experience in this field. We cooperate closely and share information with leading testing chamber manufacturer and accredited laboratory Weiss Umwelttechnik GmbH.
  • Flexibility
Our team has calibration technicians located both in Prague and Brno. A single technician can provide servicing (such as regular maintenance or device installations) as well as subsequent device calibration, which means the customer always deals with one contact person, ensuring worry-free harmonization of all activities, the least possible device downtime and lower transportation costs. All our procedures naturally comply with ISO 17025. Our laboratory’s extensive equipment allows simultaneous calibration of multiple devices, saving the customer’s precious time.
  • Accuracy
Compared to certifications issued by other accredited calibration laboratories, we offer one of the best measurements of uncertainty. We insist on stabilization of testing space environments for at least one hour so we can guarantee the quality of our work.
  • Personal approach
We treat every single customer individually. At the beginning of each contract there is always an understanding of your needs and requirements. We will do our best to meet all your requirements.
